Khris, you are apple shaped at the moment. I do not see pear tendencies. With ChristineB, I see a pretty pear.

Your body shape is changing though. So you might be heading towards hourglass. Volume actually works for you.

See I don't think that I have an hourglass tendency at all. My underbust and waist measurement are almost exactly the same. I have always in the past used pear advice for my bottom half and inverted triangle (or large busted) advice for my top half. I am large busted- DD, and I feel funny in anything with a defined waist, although less so now.

I'm also an M shape according to My Shape. I was never sure if I was a pear or an hourglass, because I have a strong shoulder line, but I'm not super busty (36C), a defined waist, and curvy bum & thighs. I think my shoulders & my thighs (the widest part of my lower half) are the same width.

I consider myself either an hourglass with pear tendencies or a pear with a strong shoulder line. I take the advice for a pear for my bottom half, and take the advice for an hourglass for my top half. No matter what I try to define my waist. Anything that hangs from my shoulders down through my hips makes it look like I've gained 30 lbs around my middle. Not the look I'm going for at all!!

Hope that helps!

Hi Angie,
I need your help yet again. (other input is welcome as always)
45 pounds ago, I was a definite pear shape with a large chest and strong shoulder line. 20 pounds ago, that started to change. I just input my current measurements in at MyShape.com, and come up an M shape. It seems to fit, but what does that mean? You've seen plenty of pictures of me- what would you define my shape as? I am just not sure. I know that I have a strong shoulder line, but I also still see a pear tendency, and sometimes I feel apple-y or rectangle-ish.
I can take an embarrassing Body Shape photo if needed.
