The volume in the pockets around your hips actually draws attention away from the curve. A flat patch pocket would have accentuated the curve. Being a pear i need a voluminous top with them, this is fine in the warmer weather but all my voluminous tops are short sleeved and not much good to layer with. Have been on the look out for a long, short sleeve cardi to wear over regular tops with skinnies. This is what i have come up with but having second thoughts as to whether the pockets disguise my hips or make them look bigger!
