(I've been getting by with one dress coat, one car coat, and one gear-type jacket for sports/ shovelling snow, etc.). Coats are a real investment since in general a great one can run to hundreds of $. It's in the mode of a "man coat" I had a navy one by JNY from about the same time. I wore it until it was threadbare and only then did I get rid of it. </p> <p>I also have a chocolate brown winter coat currently and I see nothing "dated" about this coat at all. I especially liked the descriptions of blush and leopard scarves. Just make sure that any replacement coat makes you just as happy as this one. I have loved this jacket and it has worn incredibly, but I'm worried it may not be quite modern enough even though it's a low stance 2 button man styled coat? Is the brown dating it( sorry it&nbsp;doesn't photo well but it is a deep chocolate brown) - it looks great with my leopard print scarves and I used to wear with a blush pink pashmina. The weight of this is lovely and it's fully lined so it drapes nicely. I envision its ultimate replacement to be camel but I want the right one (cannot be scratchy, this is my perrfect length) and I'm not sure I'll find it until end of season or even next year due to my budget requirements.</p> <p>Truth please - should I donate or can I get pull it off?&nbsp; </p>
