It doesn't self-tan, though it blurs things much like a tinted moisturizer does. For minor imperfections, that may work, otherwise I would go with the Jergen's gradual self-tanner. Overall, though, for anything except running around outdoors or to, say, a fair in the summer, I have no issue with nude-for-you hose. I use Jergen's natural glow moisturizer to add a slight color and then mix a cheap BB cream (Garnier has a huge tube)&nbsp;with moisturizer for a little leg makeup.
