Having said that, personally I think you could go a tiny bit shorter, retaining the slouch but lessening the slightly bulky effect of the slouch. (does that make sense?). I narrowed the trousers and am very pleased with the results. Now I need to hem them. Here are pics with the extremes - flats and heeled booties - turned up to the original hem. They look a bit long to me. How much more should I hem them, do you think?</p> <p>Thanks for all of your encouragement, everyone, and I'm sorry to those of you who preferred the original cut : (. I will get much more wear out of them this way, I know already (when I'm all finished, I'll post a "how-to" post, a la Claire). </p>
