I have a Maltese and I know that little ones are harder to train and I have heard that Yorkies are particularly stubborn. I have a bichon/yorkie mix and she is a dear. Ours are allowed everywhere too and I wouldn't have it any other way. They are 10 and half years old. We never managed to fully pottytrain him, we go through a lot of pee pads LOL, but that usually happens with small breeds.
