I generally use the IT guidelines for <i>just the shoulders</i> and then follow my other body type advice for the rest; if I follow the IT guidelines only then I get loads of loose fabric everywhere else. As a rectangle secondary you may have good luck with brands that use a straighter fit model (e.g. JCrew) and then sizing to your shoulders to minimize the excess fabric. For starters, broad shoulders and small bust dressing also has a lot to do with the length of your neck. If it's on the short side, V-necks and scooped boat necks work really well.&nbsp;<br /><br />Short torso and long legs means you are short waisted, but the length of your rise needs to be taken into account too. Perhaps you can post a photo and we get down to the nitty gritty details?
