I studied your pic for ages for hints on getting the right length :)</p> <p>I actually ended up switching them for a size smaller in the regular (not petite). The petite one bagged out quite a bit wearing them around the house, so a bit of a heads up Suz if you're considering them. This is the size smaller and they're much better. And I switched out the boots too, to the Frye Courtney, which I just love. One and done. This look took a lot of work but I really needed a change, I've been in boyfriends long before they went mainstream and I'm well overdue and so bored with my jeans. As one who is trying to find the pieces to put together for this look too (high shaft boots, kick flare crops) , I am beginning to think that this trend is one we've somehow developed here on YLF that really isn't being shown at retail very much. &nbsp;I was lucky enough to have &nbsp;couple of cropped flares from summer, but am wondering if they really aren't better suited to summer. I finally found a pair at Anthro, and can't decide between the regular length, that seemed too long, so ended up with the petites that seemed more intentional. </p> <p>What is the right length, are these too short? They just cover the tops of the boots, which I'm probably keeping, they're the best I can find. The hunt for a low heel, taller shaft boots around here is a whole other drama! Your thoughts, keep the petite or do they need to be a bit longer?</p> <p>Edited: my apologies, this wasn't meant just for Angie, I realize she has a sore arm. Anyone's help appreciated! </p>
