However longer tops can work well too creating "volume on volume" look;<br />- classic blazer. Your new culottes sound wonderful and they can be dressed up or down in many ways. Cropped tops can look great too. You don't have to bare your midriff as you can wear a fitted, tucked in underlayer to tone with your outfit. Also looser boxy, slightly cropped tops work too. You could even have a loosely woven knit high hip length sweater with an asymmetric hem to add some structure to the waist area and pair with ankle boots for a more casual look. I'm sure some other ladies will chime in with other ideas too. Hope this helps to get some ideas going for you.
