I had no luck with high-rise skinnies here in Aus. Even in US the pairs I bought weren't particularly high rise but fit so well everywhere else. I'm thinking online would be the best bet. I'm tempted to try out the black UO ones Shiny posted about as they are easy on the $$$. I ordered the Boden clams, which really hug my legs, similar to a skinny cut. I definitely have big thighs, and don't look good in the clams without a longer tunic.
