The great thing about hair accessories being so popular right now is that there's such a huge variety- both young/girlie and mature/sophisticated. You can absolutely wear hair accessories when you’re older if you choose the right accessories and wear them with a certain level of sophistication. Take a look in Calire's or any other junior accessory store- it's stocked with candy brights, glitter, and cheap looking plastics. I'd avoid those things and also tend toward abstract designs. I think that feathers, real looking flowers, and higher quality jewelery type findings can be fun and elegant.
