But other than that, I wouldn’t wear any other form of hair accessory with your specs. It’s too cluttered and juvenile looking after a certain age. Dainty headbands are sweet sans the specs and I would probably leave it at that. I hope that makes sense. </p> <p>I used to wear a tiny little Chanel barrette with my specs at the age of 36 but have given up on that look. I never wore them when my hair was long because it looked too juvenile even for me, and my hair wouldn't stay neat enough. Your hair has to be very well groomed. J Crew has fabulous headbands (most of which are not available online), so check there. They won't be as girlish as some other stores.
