And of course it looked great. </p> <p>I think the key for mixing neutrals like grey and navy, grey and black, even black and brown, is that the two are at least a few shades away from each other. If there isn't enough difference, it&nbsp;might appear to be an unintentional mismatch. They're neutrals in the cool family, so they " go", so don't hesitate to wear. But like any combo, certain shades will set each other off better, something to think about for new purchases, and as Suz says you might<br /> also find ways to accessorize to tie them together and lighten up to tweak things in a certain direction.<br /> I'm very interested in your post and combos right now as I'm trying to develop better neutral mixing and while " all neutrals go together" in some universes, some combos are better than others! The "gun smoke" top I bought yesterday.
