We went to the Super Bowl in New Orleans a couple of years ago (the game of the infamous power outage), and it was a total blast. I think NO is the ideal venue for it! Claire has you sorted for AZ weather advice, but I will just reiterate casual is the word of the day. I just geared myself up in a Ravens jersey, black underlayer, jeans, and black boots. Oh, and a most fabulous purple feather boa and mardi gras beads, just 'cause, you know, New Orleans! </p> <p>Have a blast! Maybe I can help. the temperatures fluctuate wildly in the winter here. First, everything is super casual. Folks might dress up a little for the after party by adding some heels, a metallic sweater or fancy earrings to their attire, but you'll be fine anywhere in boots and jeans. You can generally get through the day here with a short sleeved top and another layer or two that you can take off or on depending on the temperature. Indoor temps are kept around 70-74F. The warmest thing you go to will probably be the afternoon tailgate party. It will be VERY a warm in the sun (don't forget sunscreen) even if the air is a bit cool. The biggest lesson I've learned living here is to make sure my fist layer is not some ratty tee, since I will invariably strip down to that at some point each afternoon! :)<br /> It is drastically cooler in full shade, and when the sun goes down, but coming from New England it should feel balmy to you. A scarf is something nice to have, but you won't need a hat or gloves. Jeans, boots, a short sleeved shirt (or sleeveless) with sweater and a light jacket over that should be fine. Plenty of tourists wear shorts or cropped pants with sandals. Perhaps a scarf in my bag for an extra layer as needed.&nbsp;The only style requirement imho&nbsp;is that it shows your team colors, and is comfy for eating nachos and drinking beer and cheering your lungs out!</p> <p>Have a BLAST! All I know about dressing for the weekend&nbsp;is that thursday night's team party is jeans and cowboy boots and is both inside and outside&nbsp;(I will wear fryes bc my feet are too fussy for pointy cowboy boots). &nbsp;The weather will range from 45-50 degrees in the am/eve to 78 degrees high during the day. &nbsp;Don't know whether I wear team gear, or dress up or what.</p> <p>How does one dress for the Sunday&nbsp;tailgate (which will be warm)&nbsp;and game (which will be cool), and show team spirit and look good? &nbsp;Then we go straight to the team post-game party and I just haven't a clue how to dress for that sort of thing either. Its at our hotel, so i could change out of game attire, but if my team wins, I'm&nbsp;guessing I won't want to. &nbsp;And even for dinners out at night there, being that cool, but being AZ, I am at a loss. &nbsp;Where I live I am in full sweater and boot weather (Boston area) so I can't envision what I should be doing here.</p> <p>thanks for you help!<br />dale</p> <p>ps please help me even though I'm a patriots fan&nbsp; </p>
