Sounds like you need a smaller size. Try half a size down too.

I agree with ATLynn, these just may not be suited to your feet. Angie shared a trick her mother used for tight shoes and that was to wet your feet And then put the shoes on and walk around in them. This may be more for leather shoes and I'm not sure what you have and if the 40's are just a bit too tight or really tight. I don't like having to add things to my new shoes, but I do hear foot petals are quite helpful to some ladies.

It sounds like that brand of shoes isn't the right shape for your foot. Time to return and keep looking. Good luck!

Hey! So i bought a pair of formal heels that are not too high. Probably
only an inch or two. I bought the size 41. The salesperson wouldn't let
me try walking in them for some reason i don't know. Once i got home, i
tried walking in them and they keep coming off. I tried the gel inserts
but to no use. I tried on size 40 in the store but it is tight on my
feet. Especially because my left foot is slightly larger than my right.
Pls help me!!
