Right you are Angie! The fabrication is different and we both know that can make ALL the difference in fit and feel.

The fabric content looks different in that version on Amazon, Shannon (81% cotton) - which does happen across brand styles with the same name. Think back to how many versions there are of the TR Cameron. My AG Nikki's are 98% cotton and 2% Polyurethane. These are the ones I recommend:

http://www.shopbop.com/nikki-r.....&exti

They are quite tapered through the leg - more so than the Camerons - so I don't see a sihouette-change-challenge with hemming them.

All these lovely ladies posting the AG Nikki relaxed skinnies is making me drool - these are GORGEOUS jeans. As much as I love my TR Camerons, it would be nice to have an option without the back flap on the pocket - less lump for untucked tops, you know?

However I know that everyone is excited by the length which means I'd be chopping of 4-6 inches to hem for my short legs. Would this mean losing the integrity of the leg shape Angie? Therefore kind of ruining the overall look of the jeans?

P.S. I'm not sure if these are exactly the same jeans, but this lighter wash is on Amazon at a significantly discounted price http://www.amazon.com/AG-Adria.....38;qid=139
