I wear them with everything, and they are extremely versatile. The sole isn't that thin. I haven't tried them with tights yet, but I plan to. I bought them and wore them out once, but they dug badly and rubbed my big toe bone raw I was almost willing to size up one more half size but it was just too expensive to keep experimenting.</p> <p>FWIW I got them in black. I'm sure 12W would be more comfortable sometimes (my feet are chubby like me!) but 12W doesn't really exist, except in orthopedic shoes.
