Hi Angie,

How do you recognize good quality fibers (cotton and silk) from poor ones? Do more expensive brands (Anne Fontaine, Burberry, Chloe, Kate Spade, The Shirt by Rochelle Behrens, even J. Crew's Thomas Mason) use fibers that are of significant better quality?

I haven't come across any articles that suggest how the textiles of more expensive clothing might differ from that of cheap clothing, even when two garments can both claim to be 100% cotton, for example.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks!
