It's the style issue where I don't have that much faith in her opinion and the precision cut that I don't know if I could trust her to do just right.</p> <p>Diane G, given your expertise, I'm so glad you chimed in. My first thought was to cut them myself in the wavy pattern, but the thought is a bit nerve-wracking. I had never worked on suede before, but seeing that all the edges had just been cut and were not hemmed in any way I thought I could finish it in the same way, so why not?&nbsp; It turned out fabulous, and my client was thrilled. I would imagine that the edges of your jacket have just been cut with a rotary cutter or even just scissors which is what I used. What you could do is get a white pencil or chalk and draw the wavy shape along the lower edge of your sleeves to the length you want and cut it yourself.
