Thanks Angie. I will try to size up - my concern would be the neck - usually in XL it is too wide for me... I would definitely wear these t-necks as a layer but I want to be able to remove the jacket if required...

I think it's worth trying on a larger size in the t/neck Sveta - although you might very well stay with this size.

I like to wear my W/W t/neck with faded denim, checked brown/grey slouchy pants and black bottoms. It's great with my cream and blush motos. And cream coat. I also like it with my black motos. If I had a pair of wool W/W trousers, I would wear it with that too.

Thanks Angie. It is not that I doubt cream on me as a color but rather styling of it. When I tried to style my cream t-neck a couple of years ago you always said to substitute it for a dark one so I thought that cream t-neck is not a good basic to have. Then I saw your NYFW outfit with a cream t-neck and thought I really like it - but it was with cream jacket. I don't think I saw it on you in other outfits - how do you wear it?
You got me on sizing up...maybe I should get XL then to try...

Sveta, part of me wants to see a size up on these. But I'm the only one who thinks so! Are you going to use them as stand alone items or layering alone? You wear a turtleneck well!

I MUCH prefer cream on you than tan and camel. That should answer your question

I was doing some online search for inspirations on a cream turtleneck and did not get that much. All I got that I liked had either light topper or light bottoms used with a cream t-neck - and I don't have either now. I have a lite leather jacket on order though and it should arrive next week... my winter white straight trousers, where are you?

Sveta, that is a SUPER plan for the yellow top. I kept a Brooks Brothers petite striped shirt that I got on super sale price for the same reason. The shoulder, sleeve and waist fit is good but it is way too short for me except with skirts. But oh well....that is fine...I will wear with skirts! NormallyI want my clothes to do multiple duty, but sometimes we take what we can get.

I think the cream T neck will come in handy - honestly. I can see it quite simply under your leather jackets with scarves and lighter footwear, for example.

Suz, this is what get me confused: I wear a white button down shirt a lot - by itself and layered under jackets and it feels right. However for some reason I am afraid cream t-neck maybe hard to style. I cannot logically describe it, maybe I need to look for inspirations!
I have tried a cream chunky short t-neck in the Gap today and was smitten. I have not bought it because I want more wool and less acrylic but the general idea was very appealing.
BTW, I may keep the yellow too: it is 2" shorter but I think this length works better with skirts, wide leg and loose fitting trousers. Anyway I need to sleep on this and do more playing in the closet. This Sunday you may witness a fashion show!

I say keep the first three. If you're like me and live in a colder climate, you will probably want to wear the cream under sweaters or a pretty jacket/cardi.

Sveta, I do wear a lot of cream and whites, and I have a very similar coloring to you. I think creams work on me but I could be wrong. Actually, we do wear pretty similar colors. I think the cream one is a good canvas for your leather jackets and neutral bottoms. I enjoy it especially with black. I vote keep!

Look at Angie's inspiration outfit here:

I like the yellow on you. The cream would be useful as a foundation piece, but on its own, I think it would be meh.

Love the black and purple, keepers for sure. The cream needs some styling to work, but I can see it becoming a work horse in your wardrobe.

Sveta, I'd keep the first three; you'll get a lot of use out of them. I think you look smashing in the cream color, even without makeup. The yellow I also like on you, but I understand your hesitation about the length, although it doesn't look too short to my eye.

Not Angie. But I share your frustration about the yellow top. I an see you getting use from that one if it came in long.

HOWEVER, it IS great news that we can now get more things in tall and petite!!

I think the black and the purple are definite keepers.

As for the cream, as you say, it is tough to say as you are worn to a bone, not styled, and posed against an unflattering background colour.

So I think the question is, do you often find yourself longing for a white or cream under layer? You would not be wearing this often without a jacket, scarf, or some other item over top, I suspect. So the colour does not have to stand on its own; it is something you need to make an outfit work. If you are often wishing for a T-neck in white or ivory, then I would say keep. If not, perhaps wait and see if it will go on sale later in the season.

It seems I am pestering Angie with questions today - sorry! :-)
I received BR t-necks today. This was an unexpected joy on the weekend when I found that Canadian BR and Gap now carry some tall sizes too - woot!!! Finding long enough t-necks is a pain for me so I ordered all colors in tall size - cream, black and purple. I also wanted to try yellow color but they come in regular only so I ordered on of those too.
Yellow is too short, it will bug me, I know so it goes back. However I would like your opinion - is this yellow color works for me? I look like death in these pictures - no makeup and tired and pale though so I am not sure any color is flattering for me now...
That was question one. Another question is= - and I really like Angie's opinion on it - does cream t-neck has a place in my wardrobe? I got a cream t-neck a couple of years ago and has a hard tile styling it so I ended up donating it. However that was year 1 of YLF for me so I struggled with a lot of things...
Anyway, these t-necks are not cheap so I only want to keep it if it has a potential for my style. I would really appreciate your help!
