Malina, none of these scarves are bulky, so the way you are wearing your hair over them works perfectly!

Wearing the BIG scarf, as in this morning's post, under your long hair in the same way does not work to my eye. The only way to wear them is over your hair, or tie your hair back. Just like how the models are wearing them.

#4 looks just fab to me!

I think big collars and big scarves can work too - if the hair does not get in the way.

Hope that makes sense

I must admit to being utterly confused about the blog post this morning with long hair staying tucked under bulky scarves. Maybe it's the level of bulkiness that matters here? So, I'm wondering if regular, knit winter scarves are just fine, and it's only the true oversized ones that make it unfab to put your hair over? Also, would that mean leaving your hair inside your coat as well?? Can't imagine that either lol. (see pic 3 for what I'd be dealing with)
Here are some winter scarves, one paired with a faux fur neckline, to boot. Hair outside, on top. Faux pas?
And an add-on question: can knit scarves and bigger collars go hand in hand or should I be choosing one or the other? For instance, #4 has a cowl on the sweater, plus a waterfall neckline, plus (eventually) the knit scarf. Fine or overkill?
