Sveta, I just didn't like the fit. I have this issue with belted styles that don't seem to have much darting or shaping through the bust, since I am so short-waisted and have a decent-sized chest--sometimes I belt and it seems to my eye like I have a block o' bosom or a big shelf boob, sitting right on top of my belt (sorry to anyone reading this if I've offended your sensibilities :). So, with the London Fog ones (tried in M and L) that's how it looked, plus the sleeves were tooo short. This jacket I've just ordered also has a belt, but it seems to have a bit of shaping through the chest and the fabric looks nice and structured, so I am curious to see how it will look on me. And maybe the crazy sleeves with distract the eye from any potential block o' bosom situation...

Jonesy, too bad LF trenches did not work for you. Were they too short?
I am with Angie - try it on and let us judge!

Thanks Angie! I do see what you mean about the quilted sleeves. The shininess can't help matters either, I wouldn't think...Thanks Suz and Anna, for chiming in with your thoughts!

I have ordered it--can't resist the free shipping and it has really caught my eye. I may post pics of it to get people's reactions.

I haven't seen it I'm afraid, Jonesy. I love the style in the photo!

Something to think about: quilted sleeves can go either way - fun or awful. I've had clients in quilted sleeves and they make arms look bigger than they are, or overwhelm the wearer. I've also had clients who wear the look well! So go ahead and try the style

Me again, pestering you about jackets at Nordstrom :)! The London Fog jackets didn't work out, so I am on to something else. This coat makes my heart go pitter patter (love the color, the style, the different sleeves). Have you seen this? Any thoughts on quality, style, etc.? Does it run true to size?

Thanks, Angie. Your thoughts are invaluable!
