They hire me to be their "head" :)</p> <p>For my own style it's actually very easy. I try ALL the trends and colours that tickle my fancy at some point during a season. I always bring home "the piece" and seldom think about whether it works with what I already have because I know that it will. 80% of outfits are underpinned by modern classics - even when my outfit looks edgy, it's made up of one classic item. I will be able to glue together the trendy piece with a well loved classic basic - of which I have several. It's that simple :)</p> <p>Bringing home "the piece" is an interesting process and often an emotional one. It's more intuitive than anything else because I have been eating, sleeping and drinking my work AND passion for 20 years. I trust my instincts most of the time, and when I doubt them - I ask Greg what he thinks. </p> <p>But I do keep my style goals at the forefront of my head ALL THE TIME. If the piece is aligned with those goals and looks fab, it comes home with me.</p> <p>I also have realistic expectations. I am not trying to wear outfits like a Shopbop model or movie star.
