Maybe it is that the frustration level is helped by my friend being there. I know in Australia you can get nude hose (or tights as we say) with a hole so your toes are bare. Although I could suggest that if you applied a little Vaseline on your toes, the areas that usually get rubbed by the footwear, you might not get rubbed at all.
