Here I am http://s297.photobucket.com/al.....c08142.jpg

(9 months ago, may be a few pounds less now)

We are very similar!
Height 5' 4"
Bust 33
Underbust 29 (A cup)
Waist 28
Hip 37 (but fullest width from the front view being at the top of the thigh)

I think we both have long waists too (in fact that is what motied about some of your pics, rather than your thighs) I looked, so it might be worth looking at this blog post

Anne, I'm pretty sure the original photos were taken with the timer on my camera. I deleted them awhile ago, so I can access them anymore. It was a pain to use the timer so all the others have been taken with the mirror. Funny, when I saw the first photos, I thought I looked completely different than when I'm clothed as well. Hopefully it's not my mirror distorting things; then I may have to start this process all over again!

Height- 5'6" give or take
Bust-34" taken at the fullest part
30 1/2 taken underneath
waist-29"
hips-39-40" (couldn't get a consistent measurement)

Karlie, I am a slim hourglass too. Not very curvy, and with an average bust size (30 or 32C). I stand at 5ft 6. I definitely have rectangular tendencies as well. You do not need to be super curvy to be an hourglass. I hope that makes sense!

Now lets get going adorning that beautiful bod :0)

Karlie, did you use the same mirror to take your first body type pics as you have been with the clothes? I am asking because when I saw your first pics I thought I could have been looking at myself in the mirror; we looked that similar! (I am a pear but not strongly so, also have rectangle and hourglass tendencies).
But when I looked at your clothed pictures you looked so much slimmer and taller!
Would it be okay to ask your height and measurements?

Thanks for the input, ladies! It is soooo nice to know I can come here and get the kind, supportive advice I need! :)

Angie, I never would have guessed I was an hourglass. It's a bit surprising to me, actually, maybe becasue I've always assumed that an hourglass required at least an average bust, whereas I have much less than that (barely an A cup). Reading up about the hourglass on YLF, I see that I was mistaken about the bust thing, but it's still a bit of a shock. And hourglass has always been synonyomous with curvy to me, and I've never seen myself as curvy-except maybe on the bottom. In any case, it's great to have this information. Thank you!!!

I think maybe I used to be a pear when I was heavier and that's why I have such a lower body issue. I stuggled with my weight after both my girls were born; up until two years ago I was 20 lbs heavier than I am now. My hips and thighs are the first place the weight goes on, and the last place it comes off.

I was going to say that rectangle was the first thing that came to my mind, no pear tendencies at all in my opinion!

Thanks for reposting your pics, Karlie. You have a beautiful, slim, lithe and in shape body. Wow. I can’t believe that body had children! I can’t even comment on your body type at this point because I am in awe of those gorgeous legs. Karlie!!! You have such slim thighs! You look so graceful, poised and elegant.

No pretty pear tendencies in these pictures. I see a straight hourglass, quite rectangular actually. Is that what you see too?

Karlie, I remember thinking you were a classic pear when I first saw your pictures but here you don't look that pearish to me. I don't know if the first set of photos were just inaccurate or if what you're wearing here or perhaps your mirror is camouflaging your shape a bit. Either way, I do not find your thighs to be out of proportion or the first thing I look at. So I conclude that even if you are a pear, it's clearly not that hard to balance yourself out using clothes as you have quite successfully hidden your pear tendencies in these pictures where you're not even trying.

I deleted the original photos I posted to help determine my body type and don't have the time to re-take pictures right now. These were already on my computer; hopefully they'll do. If not, let me know and I'll take new pictures tomorrow. And sorry about the capri pants. I know your thoughts on them! ;)

If I'm not pear, I'm very curious to see what shape I am. Thanks for your help!!
