(As my Minnesotan friend told me, "If your winter coat doesn't have down in it, you're kidding yourself.) But for occasions that I want to look good, I don't mind getting a little cold. Let me try. </p> <p>Remember that I live in the city and am out and about IN the elements. I don’t spend most of the day in a heated car. </p> <p>I LAYER up because I run cold. Thermals, thick knitwear, scarf, hat and gloves. I can wear the new Boden leopard coat that way in a Seattle Winter with just above freezing temperatures. When temps go below - I wear my long puffer and thicker wool coats. It’s very damp in Seattle. The wet cold is bitter and colder than a dry cold. </p> <p>I can also wear the leopard coat in the Fall with a cami, cotton and wool blend knit stripe pullover - no Winter accessories. It’s versatile. </p> <p>It’s a WARM coat for how lightweight it feels.
