Hello Abra! I can definately relate to the breatfeeding issues and ever fluctuating breasts. I have a 21 month old and am extended breastfeeding so I know that whenever I choose an outfit I have to make sure the boobies are accessible. Sometimes this is easier said then done and I think that is why so much of my style went out the door. I now live in mom sweats and tanks for comfort and easy (boob) access. LOL. I'm not sure I have too much help to give since I am just starting to think about fashion again. I've been reading YLF avidly to wrap my head around clothes that suit me NOW. But I will say that I find dresses, especially those that button up or are made of stretchy material and are somewhat lower cut, to be a huge help on those days that I want to look nice but still need to feed baby.

Also I agree with HeleninCanada about being kind. Today I tried on the three pairs of jeans that I own and wanted to cry. They don't fit! Okay after a deep breath and a few UGH I'm fat comments I realized that is not the type of model I want to be for my daughter. Chunky tummy? Okay... I can work around it until my working out catches up to my body and I'm back down again.

Hi Abra, I can relate - joined YLF just after baby #3. Happily for you the question of what to wear has been discussed here since then

Here are a couple of threads for you to peruse

Hello busy lady! I can relate to your dilemma, as my body changed dramatically postpartum as well. Be good to yourself, first of all - no criticism, please! The need for comfort and convenience (esp. when breastfeeding) is a priority. I wore jersey dresses with great draping and stretch to flatter over the 'wobbly' bits, maternity leggings and tunics, and button-down shirts with a generous cut. Best of luck with your new arrival! I hope others can chime in with some recent links to helpful websites...

I know I can't be alone. I am a 28 year old mother of 4 (ages 6 years to 3 months old). Back in the day I was a size 5 in juniors and 120 lbs. Now I'm 140 pounds and struggle to find anything that fits this newly upgraded to postpartum/breastfeeding figure of mine. What tips do you have as I shop for clothes to fit my (hopefully) temporary awkwardly shifted hips and change-by-the-minute cup size?
