PERIOD. It sounds like a bit shorter would look more current and I agree. I thought I was ordering black and when the dark blue arrived, I was really happy. One of my goals this year is to add more color to my wardrobe and blue is my color of the year. I'm thinking that now I need a short chore jacket to wear with it for cooler weather. I know most of you live where it is now hot summer, but here on the coast it is in the 60's still. But I think for these it’s important for the overall look to show some ankle since it’s looser through the whole silhouette. Try pinning them at different lengths and see what you like. I can see these pants working with lots of different tops. I think they could do with a hack. 2 inches above ankle bone, so that you show some ankle to temper the volume. Similar to the model’s length. They are much longer than the two inches above the ankle that crops usually are hemmed. I kind of like them this longer length but what do you recommend? The knit top was ordered at the same time but not necessarily to go with the pants. What kind and color of top would look good with these pants? </p>
