Thanks for starting this thread, Ornella. I've been interested in the Heattech line ever since Angie first mentioned it too. Definitely plan to give them a try as soon as they are online.

Have fun in London!

I HIGHLY recommend these Winter undies (top and bottom). They run TTS. So warm and not bulky. Great quality. Does not shrink - but then I do not pop them into the drier. I hang dry. I use our drier very sparingly because drying ruins clothes.

You cannot return these items though. They are packaged and once you've opened the package - that's it. Maybe buy one style, try it on and buy in bulk straight after that.

Greg wears the blokes version and loves it too. Have a good trip!

If the stars line up as expected, when I stop by at London in about 10 days or so I will have a chance to pop in the Uniqlo store. My one mission is to get Heattech underwear - Angie mentioned it in one of her replies to my other question last winter and I made a mental note, but now it's time to actually see it in person and hopefully buy - I am heading to a very, very cold winter compared to the climate I used to live in.

So, my questions about these garments are:
- do they run TTS?
- how do they wash - do they shrink, stretch, pile, need any special care?
- drying - line or dryer?
- can I use them under the skiing clothes (there's a talk about skiing trip this winter and we need to start preparing)?
- anything else worth knowing?

Any preferred styles?

Thanks.
