christieanne, very good to hear that! Now I know what to do, but it still feels hard to let go... *remember: less is more, style is all*

Thanks to all for commenting! Angi, that totally makes sense and now I know what shape i'll be looking for. Meanwhile I'll stick to #11 and let the other go...*sigh* (remember: will feel liberated when misfit sunglasses are gone, dead item = clutter = space/style abuse)

Thanks again for helping me with this small sunglass overhaul!

#11 are the most flattering for your face. Quite retro and look fabulous. Divine! :). If the fit is not great, perhaps you can find a style that is similar and stays put on your nose.

I am less fond of the other styles not because they are that dated as such, but because they aren't quite the best shape. Does that make sense?

It seems like #10 is the best and #4 is on its way out. #1 and #8 is on a hold a little bit longer. I'll wait for Angi's and maybe some other comments before making the final decision.

10's a winner, but if fit adjustments can be made I like 8 on you too. 1 might be alright to hold on to for a deliberately retro vibe, if protection isn't a concern, but 4 is I fear really too small for your face and I don't see that changing

Nice! The sunglasses I actually like the best is the ones with larger frame. I was just uncertain about the fit because they rest on my cheek.

So, what to do with the others? Will they be classic in time or should I just get rid of them? I have a hard time letting them go because I have worn them so little and that makes CPW quite high. Though I don't like dead items hanging around.

I get what you mean about sun protection - I still like the larger frame (10/11/12 etc) on your face the best The others are too rectangular in my opinion and too small.

Thanks for commenting jayne & christieanne!

#8 I can see that they sit wrong on my face, but that's due to putting them on without looking in the mirror to adjust them. The main question is whether the shape is good for my face shape.

And ok - this might sound a bit stupid... :-S Here comes: I don't care that much about protection because I actually love bright sun light (easter in snow covered mountains + when driving is the only time I bother about sun in my eyes, though I'd like to change that and wear sunglasses more often ;-)).

Consequently, #1-3 is also about whether the shape fits my face (not protection), and #4-6 is also more about fit than protection, but I think the CK's seem a bit wide over the nose, or? I like the shape of the frame around the glasses though

I agree that the last pair seem to fit better and provide sun protection all around. Plus, they are still current and very chic. The pair in picture 4 are classic shape but you get no sun protection on sides of eye and they look too small for you.

I found my old sunglasses and are not sure about the fit and the currentness of them. I tend to forget to wear sunglasses, but I thouht I could try to make a change this season.

#1-3 Very transparent (little protection), very late 1990's
#4-6 Calvin Klein, 1990's something, too small?
#7-9 Sporty style, 2007ish
#10-13 Found in a drawer at my parents', I like these, but as you might see they rest on my cheek + my nose also might be a bit flat to fit perfectly, or not?

Any comments on fit and outdatedness are welcome :-)

PS. Sorry, I havn't made a collage, but I don't know how to do it (yet)

ETA: My optician's could put on plastic "cushins" (like in #7) which makes them sit a bit higher because of the "cushins", and hence do not rest on my cheeks. Perfect! see #14-15
