I like them with all top options. Youcan tuck, semi-tuck, wear untucked shorter tops or full volume on volume - culottes are amazingly versatile in this regard.<br />Out of the shoe options loafers are my favorites here. The only ones I am not sure about are boots in #4 - something about the shaft length does not look right to my eye with culottes. The rest are all good!<br />I wear mine to work all the time. Triggers were, sit<br /> at real waist, nice set-in waistband, pleats and drape, looked like they might fit.<br /> Also, the color was intriguingly “neutral” or perhaps trans-seasonal for me—can't wear in winter, but could skew spring, summer, fall<br /> with the right tops and accent colors. Price was right for something that might<br /> not see frequent wears because of...maybe&nbsp; not working out!</p> <p>Shown with just a first foray into an assortment of footwear and<br /> tops. &nbsp;Did not show higher-heeled dressy pumps<br /> because I’m pretty sure those work fine for the right effect, but only wearable<br /> limited occasions. &nbsp;Also, summer casual<br /> would not be too hard, as a chunky sandal is pretty easy, but here closed-toe<br /> is a need. So the focus is to try out combinations that I could wear for hours,<br /> but move away from the frump.
