I think it depends on the brand cjh. I've bought several items via ASOS, and have been quite happy with the quality, except for one blouse (the ASOS brand itself): the seams weren't straight and the fabric looked a little cheap irl.

I do love those spots, so cheerful!-)

Not Angie, obviously, but I thought I would reply: I have ordered a few things from them, and the quality seemed okay for the price. Maybe Gap quality? But they have such a tremendous range of merch that I would guess that there would be a range of quality (and the designer stuff they feature would presumably be higher quality). They do have free shipping both ways, so I figure why not? Re. the two blouses you linked to: I do tend to think that Peter Pan collars are somehow girlish or youngish, but that's just my two cents :).

Maybe some other folks will chime in.

I have been enjoying the pretty tops and skirts on the ASOS website. Some lovely feminine styles which I feel would do well to replace some of my MidWest Department Store Frump Fashion (hereafter known as MWDSFF) and give me some of the girly-but-grownup factor I always love to wear. (Scratch paper covered here with various descriptors, concocting a style rubric...)

However I do not want to look like I bought clothes in jrs, at least the jrs. I know. The way I find MidWest Department Store Jr. Fashion is flimsy, skimpy, non-lasting construction and fabric, not cut for my shape (middle age or beyond... sad to say), kind of garish colors and really trendy.

So, what is the general opinion of the quality, fit, and grown-up feel of ASOS blouses? Here are my favorites at the moment. Any feedback? Thanks!
