I feel your pain finding footwear that fits a wide foot. I think my foot is only wide in the toe box. I also have short toes which I don’t think helps. I’ve sized up from 6 to 6.5 in closed shoes with some success but not always. I have some boots that are just too long that I wear anyway because of the limited availability of wide widths. I loooove shoes, but could take or leave most bags. When I find a bag that does make my heart sing, oh my goodness it makes such a huge difference! Such a bag always gets heavy use and gives me such pleasure. So, with that background I really encourage you to not give up on these shoes! If you are really that fond of them I think it would be well worth trying a half size up to see if that is better on the width issue.
