However, I consider myself to be at a good place -&nbsp;if we exclude style evolution related piles of things that have left the house,&nbsp;I am now down to the smaller, finer pieces which need a bit more thinking through and&nbsp;decision making. Here is where you come in&nbsp;ladies, I kindly ask for your help.</p> <p>I am totally confused about this jewellery set. I got it as a wedding gift from a relative 12 years ago, but have no emotional attachment to it whatsoever. Meaning I can get rid of it and not fee guilty.&nbsp;<br />I never wore it.&nbsp;My first reaction back then&nbsp;was that it's too conservative (not even classic) for me and over the years I was revisiting it, only to think that some day I'll resell it and buy something I actually like.</p> <p>The thing is, over the last year my jewellery taste had changed a lot and I now prefer stud earrings more than any other type of jewellery. Pearl studs win in that arena and I wear one pair most of the time, exchanging them with the red pair I also like a lot. <br />So,&nbsp;when I was tidying up my stuff the other day, I opened this box and found the earrings alone&nbsp;puzzling for the first time ever. I even tried them on, but was confused - do I like them or not?</p> <p>When in such doubts, I turn to my husband. His verdict? <i><b>They could be seen as too classic and uninteresting, or very, very&nbsp;classic that they actually&nbsp;become&nbsp;cool. </b></i>We are both on a fence.</p> <p>Regarding the necklace,&nbsp;I like dainty necklaces, but I have a few other that I like a lot and which have sentimental value to me. I don't consider wearing this one, but I am willing to be educated and talked some sense into if you think I am missing to see the true potential.</p> <p>Over to you.
