What works for me is somehow the toe is a mild almond- toe but is wide enough across the toe joints to still work with my foot issues, so, this is the closest thing to a pointy toe I can manage, except for a few ankle strap flats I’m clinging to for a rare dressy event. Like you, my forefoot is wider (not wide, but medium width), my instep is higher, and my heel is very narrow, Shoes (esp. flats) tend to flip off my feet and it is difficult for me to get a fit with flats. The only way I have been able to wear fashion sneakers is with insoles. I cannot use the "heel grips" that are often sold to keep heels in place -- those have never worked for me.&nbsp;</p> <p>Anyway, in my Ecco 7s I use the thinnest Superfeet sole.
