Good thing you have this great fall-back outfit. <br />I agree--I'd wear the jacket. You can always take it off if you feel better without it. But I've worked in part-time positions for several years now, and when I see potential employees come in for interviews, I'm always impressed if it's obvious they dressed for the interview--even though we don't wear jackets at work. You can't go wrong w/ the jacket, in my opinion. Your outfit looks terrific and fits you so nicely. Even if it is a temp job it's better they see that you take the opportunity seriously. With out the jacket the look is unfinished. I've been applying for jobs and I heard (unofficially) that I was going to be getting a call on Monday or Tuesday of this week for an interview. I took that to mean that they would call on Monday or Tuesday to set up the interview. With that thought, I took my suit to the cleaners today and they said that I can pick it up on Monday evening. Awesome.</p> <p>Well, I got an e-mail today saying they want to interview me Monday. Oh no. So, I'm trying to put together an appropriate outfit.&nbsp;My BF (who told me about the job) has told me I don't need to wear the jacket (pic 2) because I'm not interviewing for a supervisor position. It's a temporary, part-time job. He said I'll be overdressed. Personally, I'd rather have the blazer and take it off if I want.&nbsp;</p> <p>Without further ado, the outfit.</p> <p>Pic 1: Blazer - Cynthia Steffe<br />Top - Limited<br />Pants - Gap<br />Shoes - Franco Sarto</p> <p>Pic 2 - The same, without the blazer.&nbsp;</p> <p>The shoes are slingbacks, but I think those should still be ok for the interview. I plan on wearing my silver watch, my gold and silver pearl necklace and my cz studs. I'm going to carry the black Kate Spade purse as well.</p> <p>How does this sound?&nbsp;Please give me opinions and feedback.&nbsp; </p>
