Sounds good! I'll take both pair back and try, try again. I had struggles with boots last year, and I'm afraid this year will be similar.
Thanks for the compliments on my kitty. They love to get in pictures for some reason. Curious little monkeys.

Sarah, I’m glad you're venturing out and trying all sorts of boots. (Kitty steals the show !)

For the shorter pair, I need a picture from the front. I can’t tell from the angles of the shots you’ve taken. Think you can manage another picture?

I also think you can do better than the over-the-knee pair. I think fold over cuffs are hard to wear (a horizontally cutting “puss in boots look”), and these seem too snug all over. They’d look more sophisticated if they weren’t so tight. Does that make sense?

I am not feeling either pair. They just seem to chunky in the heel, and then too snug at the calf. I have strong calves too, and what I noticed works for me when wearing long boots, is to make sure they are not snug. I know it's hard to find a pair with extended calf... As far as boot height goes, I think you would be fine at mid calf with a better pair of boots.

On the other hand, I think Abigayle looks adorable.

I Looooooove the over-the-knee look on you! I wondered how it would look on a real person, and now that I have, I can see how great this look is.

I'm less enchanted by the calf-length style; our bodies are pretty similar, and I have the same problem on me. It's not an issue of calf size, they just seem to cut you off at the wrong place. Maybe it would work with leggings or jeans instead of a dress?

Angie, I wanted to nab some of those Star Ling boots, but I was too late. I was curious how the calf length boot would look on me since I have thick calves.
I found these first boots at Marshalls for a song, but unfortunately while they fit great in the store, I started having problems with the heel guard again. I can't manage to get my foot past it. So here's just a look at the height for future reference.
In addition, I thrifted some boots that I'm not 100% sure on. They can be returned.
Thank you!
