Shiny, just to clarify, pinkie toes are well contained -- I think my toes look a little funny in some of the pics because I was leaning over and trying to take pics of my own feet!&nbsp;</p> <p>Comfort is actually pretty good in all of these. Anything that's truly uncomfortable, I rule out before I ever post them for the forum (two pairs already went back to the store for more obvious fit or comfort reasons). The&nbsp;&nbsp;R&amp;Bs and SS's feel quite comfortable despite the loose leather and the high vamps, but I've only worn them for very short times around the house. I think the gap/fit issue would not comprise comfort, but I can't help but think that a slightly less gappy fit would not be any less comfortable. After all, I have other sandals that fit closer but are still perfectly fine for a full day of wear.&nbsp;</p> <p>I am wondering if high vamp sandals and I just don't get along very well. And if perhaps this year shoe makers are cutting for higher volume feet. I don't remember having this much trouble before!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p></p> <p>It's 75 here today, so we're starting to get into truly warm weather -- temps in 80s for the next week. Sigh. In theory i like them -- the silver is a great touch --&nbsp;but I personally would worry that the strap is too close to where your ankle flexes, and might rub irritatingly. Does it? You need a bit of ease otherwise they'd be too constricting, but I see what you mean and yes it's a lot of gaping. Unless you're really in love with the way they feel, why don't you send these back and keep looking. I'm not sure about something and I'm hoping to get some honest feedback from some good eyes. </p> <p>I've tried on each of these pairs of sandals with some capri/clams that I wear a lot in summer, to get a better sense of what they look like at least partially styled. Pants are a little rumpled, but they're a little RATE anyway. </p> <p>Anyway, I'm noticing that in the Sol Sanas and the Rag &amp; Bones there is a bit of extra room in the top of the foot -- the leather gaps a bit around my foot. Obviously sizing down is not an option. Does this bother your eye? I've tried to capture it in the pics as best I can. </p> <p>I included the Loeffler Randall pics too -- they have no fit issues, but I feel like its too much coverage on my foot, both for flattery and for hot summer weather.</p> <p>I'm starting to realize why I've stuck with slip-on and thong styles in the past.
