Lafayette is pricey but beautiful and I think the red jacket is more classic. The style of the tan is nice, but I'm not a fan of the zippered pockets. If you wear red as an accent, a red jacket would work for you. I know, that's against the rules! The tan to me feels - both in color and in shape - far more versatile and conventionally flattering. But boy, would I love to be able to bust out the red one once in a while. The shape and color are SO much more interesting! So dramatic! Could really make an outfit sing!<br /> If you have to get only one the tan is probably the way to go, but if there is a gift giving event coming up where you can justify another, it might be worth considering the red too. Red - appeals to me - would fit in with my wardrobe of black, gray and Navy - Red looks good on me - gives me pause as I usually wear read only as an accent (shoes, scarfs, purses)</p> <p>2. Tan - oh how I adore this color and this shape - yet I struggle with yet another neutral in a neutral heavy wardrobe. However today I am wearing a sweater of a similar color and feel quite happy in my tan, black and off-white.</p> <p>I am not going to buy both to try - So this is kinda a cage match for which one&nbsp; </p> <p>Thank you in advance for any help.</p>
