I wear it over very dressy pieces but it's long w a high low hem. That being said, I have a trench w hood and zip out lining. They fulfill different functions. I do have straight gear rain coat as well. Wellies don't work for me as no support. I like the uggs duck boots both rain and winter version. That being said I admire wellies on others. It's fully waterproof and seam sealed, so you'll be happier on the days when wellies are necessary. </p> <p>If you want something dressier but not necessarily fully waterproof, shop for a trench separately; IMHO there are more distinctive options out there than Everlane's (and I have had good luck with Everlane, but I find their outerwear somewhat unimpressive -- and definitely not geared toward extreme weather). I have never shopped at Everlane but happened upon the trench, which then led me to the anorak, below (finds).</p> <p>What say you friends? They both come in navy and both have some measure of water resistance. The trench is more my style in a way, but the anorak may be more lifestyle appropriate (i.e. quite casual) - I'm wondering if the slightly longer length of the trench might end up looking frumpy when I have my wellies on. It would look fab with heels, but this is for true weather purposes as well as fashion, so rain boots it often shall be.</p> <p>Has anyone had good luck with Everlane?</p> <p>Any thoughts?
