Angie, I was just refering to the clothes on the windows because usually inside the stores you can see the latest trends and colors.
I thought about it and have two possible explanations for my biased point of view. The first one is the kind of clothes and lines that I'm more atracted to. Maybe when I look at a very trendy outfit I will unconsciouly search for the classic foundation piece in it instead of the novelty one.
The second one is that I worked on a department store and although for the costumers the merchandise was always diferent and sometimes exotic for us the basic routine of the christmas/sales/novelty fair/summer/back to school... was always the same.

Hmmm. I don't have this impression Celia, and I used to be a fashion buyer!

Nautical is quite popular at the beginning of Spring though.

Maye I might be imagining things but from some years now, no matter what the country or the Pantone colors for Spring I have the feeling that the colors of the spring collection in the windows of the shops have always the same sequence. They start by showing light blues and tans, afterwards they add some red or black .
Is there some logic behind it?Am I totally wrong?
