I like both but I find the blue very appealing. There is something a little bit more special about them and I think they would work in very nicely in your wardrobe.

I agree with Angie- the blue is beautiful and it compliments all the pants in your finds.

I like both colours actually. Both look nice, and would be equally wearable. fwiw - I bought my first pair of red (well they are maybe more burgundy than red, but whatever) booties this fall and wore them the other day. Quite liked them and was admiring my feet all day Like you, I don't wear red, and this was a new way to get some colour into my wardrobe. I ended up with a reddish bag and a red plaid scarf to tie in the booties with the rest of the outfit. You'd probably have to do the same with the blue - tieing it in with a sweater or bag or scarf...

I don't wear reds on top, so there won't be any book ending there. I may have one or two tops that have spots or stripes of contrasting red, however. Blue is the easier choice from that perspective, but it would be a good way to get this color into my wardrobe if I can figure out how.

I'm attracted to the blue, but wonder if the burgundy might be more practical. I think both would work with the pants, but what about matching the shoes to tops?

That's a difficult call. Both colors are great and striking in their own right. I do a lot of black, grey and ink in general myself, and I've been getting good use out of a burgundy belt and bag I got this season. The bag in particular does a very nice color pop. So you might get the same thing out of the boots. Then again, would you wear the blue more? Do you have other blue boots?

I'm infatuated with these metallic Chelsea's, but need your opinions on color choice utility, ie. What will get the most wear? For those who don't know me, I wear a lot of black, grey and ink blue pants (see Finds), so my inclination is to buy the burgundy as a pop of color. I love both colors equally, on their own. thanks for your thoughts!
