Thanks Funky, and Maya has you on the right track. It's hard to say without a picture. We’ve had a whole slew of incorrect body type deductions, so I’m hesitant to say for sure. We’ve had hourglasses thinking they were pears, pears thinking they were hourglasses, and rectangles and inverted triangles getting confused. Pop yourself in jeans and a fitted top that shows your waistline and I’ll offer an effective answer.

I'll say it for Angie/every one else:

-Do you have a picture? That's the only way to really know.

-Do you wear the same size on top as you do on the bottom?

Hi Angie, a bit of a predicament.

I am a classic pear shaped gal however...following down the curve of my waist...I have a very sudden indent..and then as sudden as it comes..it goes again as you get to my hips and thighs, which are curved.

Taking out the dent...the curve from my waist to my thighs should follow on nicely...so it seems a little odd really, not too sure if there is a specific reasoning for this..most women have this as I am aware. Im just not sure what exactly it is or what causes it to be more prominent than it is in others.

Any suggestions? Could toning sort this out (If it is just a case of excess body fat)

Anyone else having the same thoughts?

-Funky
