If by thick, you mean you have a very strong prescription for severe near-sightedness, I think even these choices are too big in the lens area. The lens has be progressively thicker at the edges , the bigger the size. But it's all relative so it does depend on the actual prescription.<br />I would look for a smaller lense size but with more rounding and not rectangular like your current glasses. But I need some help. I have no clue about specs. My last pair is 8 years old (<b>#4</b>). The glasses will be very thick so it's best that the frames aren't too big. </p> <p>Two SA assisted me in the shop and we came up with 3 alternatives. All of them will get extra nose cushion (is that the right term??) put on. That means, the specs will sit a bit higher and not so close to my eyes and chins. Please consider this when looking at the pics.</p> <p><b>1: Vendela</b> - IRL my eyes are more centered than in the pic. I like that the frames are see-through on the inside and that the side bar is emerald.</p> <p><b>2: Elizabeth Arden</b> - All black, but white zebra pattern on the inside of the side bars. </p> <p><b>3: Fendi </b>- Feel very, very comfy, but are a bit soft? Side bars are kind of taupe, neutral, but not so much fun.</p> <p>Do I have the winner specs here or do I need more searching (hopefully not...)? </p>
