I really love the black on you: You wear black a lot, it looks good on you, and the glasses look so chic and modern to me, and complement your bone structure sublimely IMO. I find it very interesting how people's perceptions differ so strongly. In the local store yesterday, a woman I know came in and she was adamantly opposed to BOTH sets of NY glasses (the black and the buff). Thought they were horrendous. But she is not used to seeing me in any kind of glasses. And is not as fashion forward as the women on YLF! </p> <p>I will probably always alternate glasses with contacts. I would dearly like to wear my specs more often, But I have never been perfectly comfortable in a pair of glasses in my life and none of the promised solutions ever work; if I wear specs for a full day I always get headaches and even end up feeling "closed in" and woozy. But I do need to alternate as contacts don't fully correct for my presbyopia. I can only relay what I found during my glasses search recently. Although I love coloured frames and was seriously looking at red for a while, I fear I would tire of the colour quickly if they were to be my only pair - as a second pair though, FANTASTIC. I would still love a red pair for those days when it would work with my outfit or my mood, but I wouldn't want to wear coloured every day since there are times a more neutral version would work better. I also found the different shades of red could either brighten my face or make me look like I had jaundice. </p> <p>I hope we haven't all overwhelmed you with our comments and choices.
