I agree, I would size up because I think it'd be more comfortable and give that bomber look and you'd be more likely to reach for it on more occasions.
So probably good decision! Super colors on you, though. Your bomber is out there somewhere!

Thanks, all. I will likely return it. They don't have any other sizes in my local store and the price is much higher online. I don't know that I love it enough to order, you know?

Yes, the snow pile! It's still there, even with 70F weather today. But I overheat easily. I'd need it to be 40F or cooler to wear that bomber. Maybe 50. But not more than that or I'd melt! (I think I mentioned in Boston that usually 45+ means no outwear for me...and after Nordstrom Rack, I walked back to my car holding my coat because it was so warm out!)

I was thinking like Angie - size up to get more oversized fit? Also I am sure we will still have cooler spring days yet - didn't you posted the pile of snow in your yard just recently?

I would have sized you up too. Ideally, it should be a little pouffier all over. It looks fine open though - more roomy that way. Super cute with your outfit.

You can wear this jacket now - it's not Summer yet. xo

That's kind of how it fit me. I remember thinking the sleeves were awful long though and hard to scrunch because there wasn't much give in the ribbing. I think a little roomier would be good but this looks like a good length and fit to wear with a skirt or dress or over a column of color. The fabrication is very nice, don't you think. It was pretty much a fall/winter jacket for the Bay Area. For $16 dollars, it'a fun trendy piece to play with.

I found the Gap floral bomber yesterday for $16 in-store. It just fits me, but I might've liked to size up. My question is, is this how it's supposed to fit? I feel very "Grease" in it, which I'm fine with, but am not sure is modern. It's almost a cropped look. Are modern bombers supposed to be longer and looser? I tried it with a high-contrast fitted shirt so that the shape and fit of the jacket would be very visible.

It's also quite warm, so I think I've already missed the window for wearing this. I'd be waiting until fall to wear it as an indoor layer. For the low price, I'm willing to wait to wear it, but I wouldn't pay $40+ for something I can't wear yet because I need to focus on spring/summer stuff!
