Excellent point, I think I will properly re-hem from the lazy one turn of existing hem that I did in a hurry. if I serger the edge and use the right depth, I can turn under and fashion tape and wear with the flat boot or other flat shoes without too much bulk. I’d love to have more ways to wear these pants and 2+” heels are not a big part of the snowy mountain lifestyle!

Thanks so much!

I think the cuffs would compete with the sailor button detail. Beautiful shoes and boots!

What is the current status of cuffed tailored dress pants as a fashion trend or classic look? I hemmed these LOFT sailor stripes for my highest heels. There is a deep enough hem that it could be cuffed and pressed for a lower heel. Then I could possible wear with my new burgundy Bella Vita Mod boots.

I have largely avoided cuffs as I am short, but the dark color and vertical stripe of these pants is lengthening enough that I think I might not have the same poison eye for cuffs on me (love them on others).

Are cuffs not current? Would these pants look good with low boots or do they need a heel? What proper cuff depth for a short person?
