You can't go wrong with Stuart Weitzman for style, quality and, usually, comfort. My next choice for more affordable shoes are VanEli, find them at Marmi Shoes on line, and also Amalfi-Rangoni shoes are great, both in a $150-$200 price range. I think when you go below that price, unless you're buying on sale, that you sacrifice quality. I also think that made in Italy shoes are usually better. Most are comfortable...even the heels. The footbed is nicely shaped and padded. The heels are stable.
