Thanks Deborah - you are right, I can see how these clothes flatter my body but it wouldn't be a problem for me if I never had to wear another skirt. These are "dress up" only clothes for me for sure. Angie's answer is food for thought:)

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond Angie, I really appreciate it.
You are right (of course) that I do like design details like drape for example but I also like simple clothing with a fabulous cut.
In winter I am much more likely to wear structured jackets with a softer top but tend to wear more linen (draped clothing) in our hot summer, when lined or structured anything is just too hot for me.
Do you think there any way to marry these looks especially for summer or do you think they should be kept separate? Thanks again. Caro.

What Debs said (high five, Debs!). The silhouettes in that capsule were particularly flattering and chic. I'm an outfit minimalist so my own bias did come through.

Caro, your style persona LOVES items with lots of arty design details - which you wear very well and I would never want to change that. That's who you are, which is always the best you :). Simpler cut items can look just as strong because they make YOU shine, instead of your clothes and accessories taking centre stage.

There is room for both looks of course!

Hope that makes sense.

Caro I too am interested to hear Angie's thoughts. I found the colour palette and silhouettes very flattering.

Hi Angie, You made a comment on my latest capsule post that it was your favourite so far. I wonder if you would share why you feel that way? I feel as though I'm in the process of a style shift & would appreciate your feedback. Thanks for your help. Caro.
