They need to be fairly snug. Jeans that aren't tight enough do not look good either. Does the jeans stretch out enough to purchase one size smaller? I tried on a pair of J Brand jeans in size 29 and they fit me perfectly, but I'm afraid if they stretch I'll be yanking them up for the rest of the day.
